Planning is underway for July 13, 2024! We're looking for vendors to set-up shop on in our parking lot located at 830 South Grand Avenue West, Springfield, Il 62704.

In order to be considered, we're looking for vendors that create or sell something unique to the market. Examples: handmade jewelry, soaps, candles or retail products that are not part of a direct sales group such as Pampered Chef, Avon, or Amway.

Event fee is $50 for 10 x 10 spot or $100 for at 10x20 spot. You must provide all your own supplies. There will be no electricity at this event. Once we have your form, we will contact you with additional information about the event.

*Space is limited so the sooner you sign up the better your chances are at securing a spot! This fee in non-refundable.

By paying this fee you are agreeing to this hold harmless agreement. 

Harmless Agreement Vendor Agreement - Journey In July - Saturday, July 13, 2024
This Agreement is between District 23 Boutique, Inc., an Illinois corporation,Cochlear Implant Awareness Foundation, Inc., an Illinois not-for-profit corporation, Ergadoo, Inc., an Illinois Corporation,(collectively “Organizers”), and YOU, (“Vendor”) is entered into outlining specific conditions in order for Vendor to operate its business during Journey In July (“Event”(s)) at 830 South Grand Avenue West, Springfield, IL 62704 and the surrounding area.For consideration agreed to by and between Organizers and Vendor, Vendor agrees to the following:1. Vendor will secure any necessary permits, licensing, business certifications, and commercial insurance that may be required for Vendor to operate during the Event.  2. Vendor is not an employee of Organizers and is an independent contractor. Vendor shall not hold itself out as an Agent of Organizers and shall not seek to enter into any transactions or make representations as if acting on behalf of Organizers.  3. Vendor shall not receive any compensation from Organizers and will not receive any federal or state tax notices from Organizers.  4. Hold Harmless. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Vendor shall indemnify, defend, save and hold harmless, protect, and exonerate, property owners of 830 South Grand Avenue West, Joel E. Tjelmeland Jr. and Michelle Tjelmeland, volunteers, organizers, its Board Members, officers, employees, agents, and representatives from and against all claims, demands, liabilities, suits, actions, damages, losses, and costs of every kind and nature whatsoever, including, without limitation, court costs, investigative fees and expenses, alternative dispute resolution costs and expenses, and attorneys’ fees, arising out of or caused by Vendor and/or its partners, principals, agents, employees, and/or subcontractors in the performance of or failure to perform this Agreement. At Organizers’ sole discretion, Vendor may be allowed to control the defense of any such claim, suit, etc. In the event Vendor defends said claim, suit, etc., Vendor shall use legal counsel acceptable to Organizers; Vendor shall be solely liable for all reasonable costs and/or expenses associated with such defense and Organizers shall be entitled to participate in said defense. Vendor shall not settle any claim, suit, etc., without Organizers’ concurrence, which Organizers shall not unreasonably withhold. The provisions of this section shall survive the expiration or termination of this Agreement.
